Presentation of P.M.D.

Partido Milénio Democrático (PMD). Chairman: Hermenegildo Cupa.
Jaume Ollé, 07 April 2007

Millennium Democratic Party (PMD), which nominated first Father Carlos Filipe Ximenes Belo as a Presidential candidate (I think, he declined) and supports Xanana Gusmão for Prime Minister to lead a Cabinet of National Reconciliation for the 2007 elections. So, no wonder, they are now supporting José Ramos-Horta, who is a close friend of Gusmão.
J. Patrick Fischer, 08 April 2007

In the 2007.06.02 elections P.M.D. got 2878 votes (0.69%), being the party with less votes and getting no seats in the parliament.

A new party, the Democratic Progressive League is announced to have been created in June 2007 joining all six smaller parties which received no seats in the Parliament. No news for now about an emblem or flag. (In the announcement, at official blog of U.D.T., a new spelling for P.M.D.: "Partido Milleniun Democrático".)
